The Trader Joe's hens thus far lay a cream-colored egg.
(TJ pullet's egg = middle egg)

This is TeJae. These birds are not just good layers,
but GREAT layers. She has laid 80 Large+ eggs in 82 days.
Rarely does she take a day off and is always the first in the nest.

And, yes, she was a yellow w/spots chick.

Enjoy your birds!

I think some have small black dots and some are slightly different shades of yellow. What would they be? White layers? I'm thinking I will end up with 3 or 4 good layers

Of my 6 pullets from the New Years Day hatch, 2 lay a white egg and 4 lay a cream colored egg.

They are most likely hy-line brown roosters over hy-line white hens. They make something like austra whites.

Thanks for the info. Did yours come from a cream colored egg? My eggs were very white so I was hoping for white eggs....never thought I'd say that but I get most other colors from my girls.
