the boxes at trader joes say "fertile eggs", in a green text box on the front cover of I'm not mistaken.Hiya! I'm not a member, hope it's okay to post...![]()
Anyway, I'm hoping to hatch some chicks, but haven't found any fertile eggs for sale near me, and shipping is pretty expensive. However, there is a Trader Joe's by my house. So, I'm wondering, are all eggs sold at Trader Joe's fertile? Like, even the ones from the regular case? Or are the eggs that you guys are talking about sold especially as fertilized eggs? I live in Colorado, if that has anything to do with whether or not the eggs would be fertilized.
Sorry, I'm sure this has already been answered, but in a quick glance through I didn't see it.
Thanks for any help! Hopefully soon I can claim to be an actual member![]()
Where are they from and how old were the eggs?
Look for their free range in green print (TJs) and a brand called Vital Farms at whole foods. 3 of the 6 I put in the bator Sunday look promising (VFs)I'd love to be a member but I can't find fertile eggs in the store. Does anyone know of where I might find some in North Florida? Neither Trader Joe's or Wholefoods have any.![]()
