Tragedy related to nutrition?

Thats cool. So does that mean they may have different delivery locations so you can get together with other people and save on shipping?

Ooops sounds like I have a stuttering problem. How do you delete messages?

I had a long talk with my feed dealer yesterday and he told me the scoop on labels. They purposefully list the ingredients as processed grain byproducts so they can use which ever grain is cheapest at the time and still be consistent with the label.

Layena he said was the worst commercial feed out there they use fillers in their pelleted feed and it is adjusted for protein with soy meal. Triple crown was the one he said was the best of what he has heard from feedback from his customers but he sells more Payback brand thrifty egg layer pellets.

That is what I said

I do wonder how a large company can mix so many different kinds of "chow" I bet they all have the same fillers. He did say that corn in the PNW is about 8% protien and in Texas about 11% so I guess region matters.

I was just commenting the other day how Purina has a "chow" for every type of animal. I wouldn't dream of feeding Dog Chow to my dog so why feed crap to my chickens? I won't need feed for a few weeks
but when I get a hold of a Kent label I'll post it the here.
