I filmed this on Sunday and Monday. Today they are going in and out the coop like crazy. Hope this helps.

It’s not really training so much as encouraging them to utilize both the coop and the run when they want or need either one. Many people on here get worried about their chicks not going back to coop or not going out to run. It’s also just more evidence of how young chicks can do these things and not be locked in your bathroom forever.I never had to train my older girls to use the ramp. The coop was lifted but still low enough they would just jump in. They're now 16 weeks and use it. I'm not sure when they started. Now, the coop is lifted higher and we have 4 new babies. I'm hoping theyll just follow the other girls and learn from them![]()
Ahh ok. I brood mine in their coop so that may be why I never had to put them back. That was their home from day 1.It’s not really training so much as encouraging them to utilize both the coop and the run when they want or need either one. Same for me. Most of my 10 day old chicks need a little encouragement to go out in the run when I open the door.Ahh ok. I brood mine in their coop so that may be why I never had to put them back. That was their home from day 1.
