training roosters

Hi guys,
I just read the article Ivan3 posted http://shilala.homestead.com/roosters.html and I have a question about it.

If you train your roosters to know you are the head rooster will the other rooster(s) still take care of the hens?

Hi Rhonda - being the alpha roo of your flock will not change the dynamics of your flock. The roosters will all continue to do what roosters do - with the benefit of them understanding that YOU are in charge so that they will yield to you. It takes work - but it is SO worth it.

My rooster takes good care of the hens. However when I'm around he steps back, knowing I am in control.
