Trampled By Turkey.

Is she walking?
Her muscles are really tight, & painful. She refuses to stand. She does seem to have a little bit of what seems to be nerve damage in one of her legs, her toes don't respond, but she has no problems with the leg itself. I pull on it, & she pulls back.
I'm suspecting some spinal injury, so I'm supplementing with vitamins, & Vitamin E.

I'm waiting for the Aspirin to ship, & arrive so I can help relieve her pain.

I hope that she heals. Are you familiar with chicken slings? They can be useful with an injured chicken, to get them up and in front of food and water for a few hours a day. Here is a link of sling pictures and a video:

I just made one out of a small chicken harness. She's on her feet, in the sling.
How often does she need to be in the sling?

What can I use to elevate her food, & water?

Still alive, has a bit more energy today.

Gonna be getting a tube feeding kit next month, since it's not that far away.
She's very thin, since it's hard to get a good amount of food into her, & I only have a limited amount of time over at my grandpa's place to feed her, & stuff.

Do I make a soupy mash, or do I use Baby Bird formula for the tube feeding?

I recommend taking chickens out of the sling for periods of rest, to sleep and stretch. Most people use a rubber feeding tube with chickens. You can sometimes get by with a piece of aquarium air tubing which fits a standard 35 ml syringe sold in feed stores. That works for very thin liquids. You can make the chicken feed thin with water, and grinding it fine may help more. I have only used the aquarium air tubing for water, plus raw egg and plain yogurt. The red rubber feeding tubes are sold online and connect to a catheter tipped syringe, also available online. The larger ones are good for thicker feedings. Your vet may sell you a proper feeding tube and syringe for goats or other animals to use. You can find a lot of info in these threads about sizes and where to buy things:
