This is such an interested thread. My girls trill at me with the tone rising at the end, as if they are asking a question, "Do you have any treats for us today? If so, aren't I your favorite girl? Aren't I?"
And I, too, love the soft pigeony noises they make from their roosts when we go out to close down the coop at night. Sweet things.
We have no roo, so I bet we're missing out on all kinds of fancy man talk.
