Ok, I live only an hours drive from Meyers so I am planning on driving down to get them... my question is, what should i transport them in to keep them warm and safe while in the car?

on the website it says that they pre-package your chicks for you (sounds so wierd) I just mail ordered them and am hoping they will be here tommorow. My feeling is, if they pre-package them for basically 2 day shipping, they should be ok for an hour ride home... just make sure you don't roll down the windows and crank up the tunes! lol!

They will probably put them in one of their little transport boxes, possibly even with a heat pack. When I picked up chicks, I took a cat carrier, which I can secure in the car by running the seat belt through the handle. If you have a cat carrier, you could do this and put the chicks in their box in the cat carrier which means the box can't move around very much.
