Hello all,
I am new to the forum, I have read many of the threads but near impossible to read them all.
I am due to pick up 20 quail chicks early next week. Most likely they will be a day or two old. Problem is that I have 2 hour drive after I pick them up. How long can they go without heat? I can probably crank up the car heater but I'd rather not pass out while driving. Any and all suggestions welcome.
Thank you!!

A heat pack, a bottle filled with hot water and wrapped in a towel or something similar should help. I wouldn't attempt a 2-hour trip with day old quail without additional heat.

If you have some sort of power cable in the car try to bring some sort of heating device such as a heat pad. I have a plug in, in my car that I attach a power cable to, to keep my traveling birds warm.
Hope I helped.
