I have 4 pounds of Strawberries in my fridge that are teetering between ripe and over ripe, some of them have that little bit of fuzzy mold started. Are they headed to my compost bin or are they still ok for the chickens?

I wouldn't feed them moldy food. Can you sort through the fruit and take out the bad ones, then wash the good ones?

Well the idea is to sort through them wash the good ones and jam them, so I'm trying to do something with the moldy ones.

That was my feeling too but I thought I would ask first.

Thanks everybody.
