Treat time!!

One of my favorite part of the day, bringing out tomatoes and a usually a fruit of some sort (well I know a tomato is a fruit but shhh) lol today was cut up frozen grapes
Tomatoes are their favorite
you can see Izzy my white crested black polish in the back going in the other direction, that's because the poor thing has to rush to get her food and take off with it so she can eat it, if the ducks see her with food they will go and take it from her, little brats

I also enjoy treat time with the girls. Mine run up to the fence in the mornings as soon as they see the kitchen light turn on! Of course they also run to the fence most any time they see me through the kitchen window. They grab whatever I've brought them then follow me along the fence as I make my way to the coop to collect eggs, talking to me the whole way. I can always tell who hasn't yet laid her egg because she will be the most vocal. My BA is the most talkative any time I'm outside, but she gets really loud before she's laid her egg.

My ladies are not at egg laying age yet. but they see me and they go right to the fence, Gabby my runner always greets me with a quack as soon as she hears me coming out the door, which they cannot see from their pen, she also does it when I come home and haven't even pulled into the driveway yet.

when I get to the fence first thing they do is look to see if I have a plate in my hand lol
