Treating an ill chicken

I have so much to learn!
lol :caf
Crop is a holding tank.
Hers is full and a bit hard now after saying that I did just feed her.
I guess I should feel the others.
And I am so thankful you shared this info! I would get a book chicken for dummies but I need large print. Extremely large print!

Hers is full and a bit hard now after saying that I did just feed her.
So pull feed after dark and check crop,
then feel crop again in the morning before giving feed back.
If you can setup your crate like I have mine,
the night poops will fall thru and be easy to assess in the morning.

She is standing now.
I gave her water w a touch of coconut oil and massages.
I will do it again later!
This makes more sense than the anything else. Thanks again!

Maybe just a lazy chicken. Seems to like to lay around a lot.
But will get up if approached.
Kinda been a loaner from day one.
Saw hawks today and this one made sure to run for cover! Smart or instinct!
