I recently purchased a serama pair. The little roo has mites but I have not seen them on the hen. I treated them both with Eprinex and am going to clean the coop then apply Sevin Dust. My question is, even though I’ve treated them with the Eprinex, should I trim the feathers on his bum that have the mites? I treated him 2 days ago but I’m still seeing the mites on his bum. I plan to retreat after 10 days but was curious what to do about the mites that are still there. TIA!
