Been talking on my Kansas forum about my peahen. I know she has been "off" for a few weeks. She has only been coming out of the coop rafters late evening, almost bedtime and its been gorgeous weather this last week.
She is walking like she is in pain and I just was able to catch her to dose her with my standby oregano, but if egg bound I know I need more, calcium supplement or something. If I can possibly catch her again, what's best treatment?
I am leaving for Hawaii on the 1st and want to ensure I do what I can for before I leave! Had it in chickens buts been a very long time and peahen harder to handle.
.
She is my favorite hen, Princess!
No recent pics either...
I was running low on calcium but thought I got it to them in time, crapola!
