Hi, I believe one of my 4week old quails has ulcerative enteritis, judging by drooping wings. The Merck manual indicates "Bacitracin in feed is used as a preventive in quail. Streptomycin and furazolidone are effective treatments."
I don't have any of these three antibiotics on hand. Would any others work, like spectinomycin, penicillin, etc?

Tetracycline or Duramycin also work but you need to start treatment as soon as you notice any of the symptoms. UE can wipe out a flock quicker that I can say it.
