I have 2 little bantams with snotty crusty noses and swollen watery eyes and they sneeze and sound snotty. They have been in my house in a dog cage for over a week now and they are still sick. I've been giving them terrimycin in there water along with the VetRX treatment. What gives?? And plenty of yummy high protien treats..

I would advise you to research Tylan. One buddy of mine gave Tylan 50 shots to some sick chickens; they had crusty noses & wheezing. It helped...

Best thing to do is take them to a local avian vet to find out what they have. Terramycin is not a very good antibiotic.

There are no Vets around here who will even consider looking at chickens. Seems to me too Terrimycin IS worthless. I'll look into the shots. Maybe just switch them to all natural treatment. They don't act like they feel bad at all.. I'm so afraid ALL my birds will get sick. They all did so good over the winter, now this. Probly the temp rollacoaster. Thanx!!

Terarmycin is likely usually useless because it has been used so much most things are immune to it now. If it is viral, some may already be immune and the rest will get over it with time. However, they may always be carriers. Good luck!
