what do you feed your chicks for treats will mealworms work

Mealworms are awesome, but you also need to give grit if feeding mealworms. I actually put a handful of chick starter and soak it with water. They gobble it up like crazy in my hand.

I've also given bread, rolled oats and an egg once. They like the mushy gooey chick starter the best.
