Treats for the chickens didn't pan out.

I think it is the thrill of the food being stolen that makes them super fast. Im convinced chickens are reincarnated shoplifters.

I know. I like to think I'm just a little smarter than they are... but they outsmart me time and time again. I will say though I've never seen a chicken move faster than when they have a piece of stolen pizza and are trying to out run me and the other pig chickens.

Hubby pressed apples for cider today and the crowd went wild! Even my roo, who is pretty skittish, ate right out of my hand... The pullets were eating out of the paper bowl before I even put it on the ground. My birds love them some squished apples! Can’t wait to see what the deer do...
