can I give my 3 day old chicks some treats if they have chick grit? If so what treats are recommended?

Just stick with their feed. No reason to screw up the nutrition balance so young

I usually waited until 2 weeks to fed any treats, and then it was small, easily digestible treats that they could rip up themselves. Like I'd throw a clump of grass and dirt into the brooder. That way they could get some grit if they needed while eating the grass and bugs.

I definitely agree with @JacinLarkwell, don't feed treats yet.
