Tree Frogs in the Bathroom

I dont know how they keep getting in! Our bathroom windows are closed and 3 times now I have had to escort them from my master bathroom shower. The first 2 were rather lively but this one today not quite as much....so I put him/her in our front garden bed and then watered our pots and "it" as well....seemed to hop away well enough after that.

DD Left a note on the toilet last night which I failed to see until she told me ......It read Attention! You may wish to wipe or cover the toilet seat before sitting apon it, as there was a great big froggy freind sitting upon the the toilet seat when I entered earlier. It left behind some froggy slime

You may also wish to check the shower (right next to said toilet) for froggy friend intruder (hopefully) trapped in there! (shower curtain closed)

We havent had any in the house but DH had one in his work truck and it became dehydrated rather quickly... and last year I was sitting on the deck and heard the most crazy odd sound, one was in an about 4 ft tube of a wind chime, and when it would sing it was so magnified that I had no idea what the heck it was..

A couple of years ago we had a frog who kept coming in the house. I think he just waited by the back door. As soon as someone opened the door he would hop inside. I would put him back outside but he always managed to get back in. We finally gave him a big water dish and named him George

In the fall I put him back outside and he left. It was funny watching him. As soon as it was dark outside he would come hopping out from his daytime hiding place and get in his water dish. My cats used to just sit and watch him.

One rental place we had she would find toads outside and do the same thing to them and then start frothing at the mouth and I had to hose out her mouth to get rid of most of the poison......horrid dang things

We had one that would always come in through the toilet. I don't know how and I don't know why, but always the same one. He had a black toe on his front leg! Cutest little thing! Well, until you went to use the toilet and see a pair of eyes looking at you saying "Please look before you sit!"

That's what I wondered. When we were up on the roof redoing the shingles. Well, my dad doing them, me allowed up on top of the roof..I looked into a plastic PVC pipe that connected into the house somewhere. I found frogger sitting inside of it. To this day I don't know what that pipe is?

But that means a snake could gt in there too.....yikes I am not telling her! I still think her note was hilarious

we get house geckos.. all summer long.. even had a few overwinter .. guess it's a good thing we also have spiders hitchhike in on firewood.. otherwise they wouldnt have lasted for long!

I wish we had tree frogs.. but the chickens pretty much nab them before i can find them .. and the toads as well...
