Feisty, my Bourbon, Annie, is quite the guard turkey. She barks at anything or anyone unfamiliar. Daisy is more layi back about things. Is it just a difference in my two girls temperaments or are Bourbons more reactive? I know Annie is much more vocal. Love the pic of Big Bird. She's beautiful!
Now Ralphie....you realize the Porter posse is at that delinquent age! And by the way, how about some updated pictures??
Oh hope you decide to show the turkey hen!! At least separate her and start working with her. You can always decide not to show her, but time is slipping away for show training.
Wish i could show Daisy. No shows close enough here. She may not be the best specimen but she has a show winning pick me attitude!! As a judge myself, when reviewing a group of "also rans", my default is the one who is asking to win.
Aurora....did you ask the girls what they were arguing about? . Wonder what the problem was....probably over who won the debate!!
Haven't had any fighting turkey hens...yet at least. Daisy will insert herself between Annie & I sometimes. Sort of gives her a chest bump. I need to post some new photos now that their new feathers are coming in. They are so pretty right now.
Wow Romeo! He did "save" you...what a guy! Looking forward to pics of Adam's sons.
Right after i got Daisy, I had her loose in the yard & reached down to grab her. She started flapping & my Australorp hen Thelma flew in feet first on the attack. Surprised the heck out of me. I don't think she was "saving" me. I think she thought I was killing her & wanted to help!
