After showing dogs for 30 years, and being a judge, I find the poultry show " mentality " humorous. I admit, there are some very serious breeders out there breeding just for show....but most of the folks I've talked to at shows are just out having fun with their birds. Turkey Times...I'd just go and enjoy the experience. There are never enough turkeys at the shows!! We need to represent!!

All of mine molted early last year & we had a rough winter. There may be something to it Turkey Talk. So far only Daisy is molting. But the others are considering it! Seems early to me again this year.

Rain buckets yesterday afternoon! Had a whole yard of soaked to the skin hens. We sure needed the rain. And I believe the hens even enjoyed it. Daisy is starting to look like she's ready for a roasting pan. She has just about shed everything . Waiting for the perfect time to photograph her. Want to enter the Worst Molt contest again! Y'all need to be photographing your bald turkeys!! Let's represent this year!!
