Cool! Us turkey folks got invited to join in the Hatchalong! A rarity!!

So now Aurora needs to make little cheerleading outfits for our girls! We can all post our girls cheering on the turkey eggs. "Let's go Turkey eggs... let's go"! We'd never get invited to join anything again. Although...I'm betting Daisy would love the pom poms

I've been pretty much locked in the house all day with a bored coonhound. Mid 30's and pouring rain. Little worried we may get ice...so just hanging out with the hound. Made the birds stay in their covered runs. So they are having a great day too....

So what's on your birds Christmas lists? Do you give them special Christmas treats? Do animals really talk at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve? My parents told me that. Is that just another weird German thing?

So animals talking at midnight...must be another German thing. Grandparents used to threaten to give me to the rag picker if I didn't behave. No idea what that was about either. They are from the Black Forest. Host to most of the Grimm Brothers fairy tales. ..grew up with a lot of bizarre folklore.

Everyone busy being secret Santa for their turkeys? Are you out filling their stockings with BOSS? Are you out reading The Night Before Christmas at their bedtime? Where is everybody? Figuring everyone is busy with holiday preparations.
Rain on the way today. Lots of it...yet again. At least it's going to be fairly warm. As long as we can avoid an ice storm....I don't mind....much.
Took the girls for a stroll yesterday evening. Not many neighbors about. They spent the whole time grazing on baby clover & some odd weed that popped up. My neighbors must wonder why I have pristine plant beds, yet let the weeds procreate in my lawn. Luckily neighbors on either side don't use chemicals on their lawns either. So the girls have a good range to graze. It's also interesting to see how many weeds pop up this time of year. Provides a nice buffet for the girls. And of course....they are still eating acorns. Once I step on them!
