That seems big for a 6 month old R2elk. However...my girls are all chunks. The teenagers are so sweet. They don't hop into my lap...yet...like Daisy, but will sit in my lap when I pick one up. They also follow me to the backdoor & stare up at the door when I go in. Hard to resist. I've been know to go back out & sit on the porch steps with them. I cant believe how much time I waste hanging out with them! But what the heck....why not? They are just so funny.

Daisy has a another birthday party to attend tomorrow. And it's for an adult! Not a kid. Single neighbor gal is turning 60 & will have some of her family over to celebrate. There will be about 4 kids under 5 & she thought it would be fun to have Daisy stop by. So off we will waddle. That bird has more social invites than I do. Will pick a big bouquet of daffodils & helleborus. We were instructed to come on in the backyard & knock. Weather should be nice. Told her about the no food rule. But she bought her one of those little personal watermelons. I need to get one of those little birthday hats for her to wear. Daisy will enjoy the walk & seeing kids. Plus the watermelon. I won't tell her till tomorrow....she wouldn't get any sleep if I told her today.

Going to be close to 70 today. Perfect day for Daisy to go to her first adult birthday party. This neighbor really likes the turkeys. Always stops by to visit with Daisy. She called last night to talk about what time Daisy should come over. She can't wait for those kids to meet her. Sort of can't believe I'm talking about taking a turkey to a party. What has happened to me??
