Spent the day outside piddling around the gardens. Daisy is my little shadow. Annie is my investigative journalist! She has to thoroughly investigate everything then provide a non-stop commentary! The chickens just forage their little beaks off. However one of my BA's hangs out with me & the turkeys. Actually caught her grooming Daisy. Wasn't all that warm. In the low 50's, but the sun was out.

Hope all your birds are OK Ralph. My girls have taken to roosting on my back porch rail if I'm late for " turkey tuck in time". Makes it easy to round them up. They've decided thats their hang out area. Works for me!

Ralph, glad the turkeys all made it ok. My chickens coop themselves, my turkeys sit on the railing & wait for me to coop them. Luckily they face the door and are able to fertilize my hostas on the other side of the rail. So considerate.

Loz, that pidge is one ugly baby! What do you mean you have a "house" sparrow? You have some wild bird flying around the house? I want to hear about the sparrow.

Had another great day here. Got a ton done in the yard. Annie just can't resist yard tools. She has to get her beak on everything. Had a 5 gallon bucket sitting on a deck. She kept pulling the handle. Better that than the wind chime! Daisy just wants to hop in my lap for a nap.
