Hey Feedman! Nice to hear from you! Hope all is well. Last several weekends I've wanted to head to Ste. Gen & there has been snow or ice predicted each weekend. Wacky weather.

Ralph....I was in the ground control tower watching heavies land. Wind sheer is not a good thing. But its interesting to watch em get on the ground. No one had to go around. And they all sound so calm....as they come in sideways.

Alicia....such a cute baby! Need more bug eyed pics!

Bantambird...Esther could probably teach me a thing or two! LOL!

Aurora...nothing better than momma bird pics! I still cant get over how iridescent Pebbles feathers are. She's so pretty. And Princess is so on trend with that saddle!

Rain again. It's a mess, but at least it's only rain! Had to cancel a training session with the coonhound. I was disappointed, but no more than the girls when they realized there would be no bedtime walk in the rain. They can sure make me feel guilty! How ridiculous that those two hens can give me a guilt trip!

Most of my daffodils are blooming. Nothing better on a cold rainy day than seeing a daffodil bloom.

Aurora....lilac is one of my favorites too! Sadly we can't grow them here. One of the first things I did when I bought my house in Missouri was search for the old fashioned purple variety. So many of the new hybrids don't have that wonderful smell. Other plant I love for the smell is lily of the valley.

I can sure sympathize with y'alls weather woes! I've been complaining a lot about this winter...but it's been so dang weird. I'm sure we'll settle into the standard dry, humid 100 degree summer here soon enough. Unfortunately.

Actually the winter here is much better for my birds. Our hot summers give me more to worry about...trying to keep the girls cool & comfortable . Heat kills.

More crummy weather again today. Did find time to sit with the girls. Daisy has to hop in my lap. Muddy feet & all. Oh well....she obviously needed some attention. Flora made herself comfortable on my feet. So there we sat....in the sun....muddy drowsy hens. At least they keep me warm! Not as warm as my full length heating pad...more commonly referred to as a coonhound.

My rain barrels are full! Now they are saying 6-8 inches of rain in the next two days. Yipes! I repeat myself...but I'm glad its rain & not snow or ice.

Took the ladies for a stroll this evening. They stuffed themselves. Happily twittering the whole time. Lots of green stuff popping up so they had a lot to choose from. They each have their favorite weeds. Funny how they have different tastes in food. Daisy will kill for a blueberry....Annie won't eat them. But she'll down a strawberry & Daisy won't eat them.
