I hope you got your power back on....but what a great excuse to hang out with the poults! Heck....what else can you do without power...right??
So I had sopping wet turkey hens yesterday. Rained off & on most of the day. But it was warm, 65 or so. They were hanging out on the grill again. They are to the point were they expect me to hand them treats. And they are starting to enjoy hen hugs. They are sure sweet! Daisy was disappointed. I wouldn't let her in my lap. She had muddy feet & ankles!

Going to rain all day today and get much colder. Blah!

Did manage to take Daisy on a brief stroll. Of course I had one neighbor stop & tell Daisy she's a lucky girl this time of year. Yuck, yuck, yuck....the Thanksgiving jokes are rolling in over here.

Watching the Macys Parade..well sort of...always watch the opening due to the fact that the leader of the parade is a big turkey!!

And for those of you who like dogs....the National Show is on at noon. Noon CST. The show actually happened last weekend. But it's always fun for me to see friends....judges, handlers, owners,etc.... on tv. Come on R2elk...let's root for the TWH!!

Hope everyone enjoys turkey sandwiches today. Leftovers is one of my favorite Thanksgiving things. Anyone doing the Black Friday thing? Aurora....I remember you used too. My plans today include being a bum & spending time with the girls. Gave the coonhound a slice of turkey with his breakfast this morning. He's sleeping it off now!

Started off early this morning with the coonhound getting a possum. He hasn't gotten one in awhile. I thought he cleaned out the displaced family from next door after the shed tear down. He's currently resting on his laurels. Meaning, he's sound asleep. The life of a hound....
