Tricks/Jokes you play on your spouse (pics)~ submit yours! :)

Our DD used to paint just one of DH finger nails on his hand when he would fall asleep. That was 10 years ago and to this day he sleeps with his hands in his pockets

I suggested DH wear socks. He was agast at that. Why would he deprive his princesses of the fun?

Right now I think he has pink sparkly toenails, I'm not sure.

Sorry no pic, but a great time was had when I decorated the nasty sisal plant's spikes in the front garden with the Camellia flowers from the bush next to it

After covering all the spikes in flowers making it look like it's in full bloom, I then called him out into the front garden to show him how the sisal suddenly flowers beautifully and copiously over night (it's a desert plant dontcha know and the pink glory is the *special* flowering they only do once every 50 years, unlike the stem of white flowers that comes up every year... *blinks innocently*), and, he didn't click until one of the spikes stung him as he 'admired' the flowers.

Heh >-)

I put clear tape around the sinks little faucet handle thing (I have no idea what it is called) and mom was already to go to work and had make up on and her hair done and everything and she turned it on.

She was ticked! Ahhh, I should have video taped it! Good times good times! She of course repays the favor somehow but she hasn't yet!

ETA: I hope it's OK to put this here, I just thought it was funny. I'll erase it if you want me to.

When my husband and I first started dating, I told him the word gullible was not included in the dictionary. He promptly went and got the dictionary and looked it up. He said "yes it is, it is right here" I said "ok, now read me the definition" . He is the only person I have gotten to fall for that one. We still laugh about it 15 years later.

He used to let our daughter do his hair. One night, we ordered pizza, when my husband answered the door he had one pink barrette he didn't take off left in his hair. The pizza man was hitting on him, and I was laughing too hard to tell him he looked so sweet in his pink barrette. He couldn't figure out why the pizza man was so friendly.

Normally I don't prank my husband, but he is so sweet and nieve, sometimes I can't help myself. He has a wonderful sense of humor and takes it well.

I managed a great Surprise more than a Trick/Joke but it did require much behind the scenes planning.

When my daughter was deployed last year she was able to come home for 15 days of R&R. We were not aware she was going to have any R&R so when my Daughter emailed me to let me know she and her war buddy (best friend) were coming home for R&R and the date they were to arrive I did not inform my husband. It was a very long month of secretly planning their arrival and the 2 weeks of events that were to follow.

The hardest part was not just blurting out "Naomi's coming home" at any given time during this month of playing the "I've got a secret" game.

The day they were to arrive I get up and go about my normal routine of getting ready for work. I drove to the airport and picked them up and brought them home. I walked in the front door middle of the day and my husband says 'oh hi babe, why are you home so early' I said 'oh I brought someone home with me'

Just then Naomi pops out from behind the bush dressed in full cami's and he nonchalantly said 'oh hi missy' then it hit him and he grabbed her and gave her a big bear hug and didn't let go for 5 minutes, reality had sunk in.

It was bitter sweet when I had to take her and her friend back to the airport 15 days later, but they packed in more fun in those 15 days then I was able to keep up with. LOL
