LOL! I literally thought to myself, good thing I didn't put a swing in here! This is so funny I’m in the middle of putting a stump in myself and an adult swing for new fun.

I sure hope so! Thanks for the encouragement!I put a few pallets leaning against one another to create a shelter in my chicken's run and they hated it for a week; they regarded it with deep distrust. Now it's everyone's favorite hangout.
Don't give up. They'll come to see it as part of their world soon enough.
I put their favorites on it, but maybe it is just too new still. I will give it a few days. Thanks!I agree. Put food on it and they'll overcome their distrust.
I thought of doing that too, but can only imagine the chaos that would create!I made a mistake hanging mirror in my coop some.cowered in corner some attacked it so took it out wont be doing that again
So cute! That's what I find so strange. I let them out with me when I'm in the yard and garden and they follow me everywhere and want to be in everything. I had to lift them all into the coop tonight. They didn't want to walk by the scary stump. Drama! LolMy girls are the opposite. We are putting wire over the run finally. We open the gate and let them run in the yard while we work. Now if we don't keep them out they want to "help". Skippy hears the nail gun and runs as fast as she can to do her part. Betty didn't even get off the air compressor when it kicked on. So curious.
