Trouble getting ban chickens to stop crying

I never got a heat source because when I went to the store there were chickens there too and some of them were dying so I didn’t want that to happen to mine so I didn’t end up getting it but I did get proper food.

How do you know they were dying? Describe them.

Do you just have one? Chickens are social beings, if it's alone, it's lonely & cold. It needs to be warm & if you don't have another chick to keep it company put a cuddly stuffed animal for it to cuddle with. You can also use a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel for it to cuddle against to keep warm. Were do you live?

I think the OP is saying he/she in New York & thought the chicks at the were dying as they were crying, laying down & had little hair (?). Advised the sole chick he/she had was crying all the time cause it was cold & alone. Very difficult OP, try to advise but doesn't get it.
