i have been using the egg carton for hatching and i cut it down and cut holes in the bottom too, basically just leave enough to keep the egg upright and still. i am hatching guineas for the first time and the eggs are a lot smaller than a chicken, so they are leaning a bit. i saw one was pipped on the side it was leaning on, so i tipped it over the other way so it would be able to get outa there. i also have read some guineas come out the other end backwards, im affraid if this is the case they will be stuck since they are upright in the carton. should i quickly take them out and lay them on thier sides? im kind of worried now...
