Please don't respond if you have nothing nice to say. Our ducklings are mostly indoor right now, so no bashing!

I bought these for the duck and geese... http://www.flightquarters.com/bird-diapers/product/baby-duck-harnesses.html

They seem to fit and they don't mind wearing them, but they poop right out of it and i feel very uncomfortable using the safety pins when they are wiggly.

Can anyone recommend a different diaper?

I have never used them before but I have read a lot of reviews when I was looking into them. The most important thing they all have in common is to have them custom made for the proper fit. There are a lot of people on here that sell chicken diapers. I would look into those as the ones you have look really small for the poop. They will require you to measure certain points to get a proper fit and will reduce or even resolve your problem. Some of the sellers also give a choice in materials and patterns.

Thank you!! I order the duck and goose package that comes with 4 sizes each as they grow so quickly. I have them on snug, put their tail through the little opening, yet they still poop just below the base of the tail out and over the top of the diaper LOL

I think it's more user error, but I still don't like the safety pins!

Safety pins are scarey on anything that wiggles. Not for the faint of heart. The chicken ones give more room for the poop so that might work better for them to hit the inside. You can also have several made. People that use them swear by them.
