One of my chickens, Caramel, has had sour crop for couple of days. I have isolated her from the rest of the flocki order to treat her. I fed her only water for nearly a day but and in morning her crop is mostly empty, though a small amount of food refuses to leave the crop. I know making her "vomit" is an option but it seems very dangerous, though I will have to try it if I'm left with no other option. I massage her crop around every 6 hours but that small bit of food wont go down. She about 1.5 to 2 years old. Sadly I cant take her to the vetdue to reasons outside of my control. Is there anything I can do?
I hope this makes sense

Sour crop takes days to weeks to resolve, not a day or two. What had you done so far as treatment? Have you giving any anti-fungal or yeast medication? If you haven't, then I would start right away. Details of treatment are in the article linked below. Do make sure the finish the whole course of treatment.

If she's not lethargic and not being picked on, put her back with the flock, let her eat/drink and treat her while she's doing chicken things.

Thank you, I'll take look at the article when I get a chance. Is there any specific treatment/medication you reccomend. I've seen alot but am unsure which one to go with.

I recommend that you follow the treatments outlined in the link posted previously. I'll link it again for your convenience.
