i have just gotten an egg from my friends chicken. im freaking out! my parents doesn't know and neither does her parents, she sneaked the egg for me so they don't eat it. can I have some tips? also how do tell it to my parents!? they are gunnu hatch I hope. help! im only a kid!

If your frind has a Rooster and Hens, then there is a chance it is fertilized and there is a baby chick in there. If she doen not have a Rooster then there is No chick in the egg. Follow the directions on here for hatching ifyou think the egg is fertilized.

Do you have an incubator. I'm a kid too and my parents let me because its a great way to learn to be responsible and I only keep them for two weeks then give them to my friend who gives me the eggs good luck
