The first chicken we ever lost was my beloved Palecloud.


He was killed by Made, the sole reason I despise all of dog kind.

Except for Rambo. That dog is the best dog ever.

I think the most I've done for a dying chick was for Beth. I hated to loose her - she was such a fighter

For me, one of the hardest deaths was my first dog who got hit by a car when her six puppies were one day away from six weeks old. I found her body.

Or maybe my first cat, who wasn't even one yet. I found her hit by a car, too.

Or my beloved Misty, the smartest kitten ever. That was very hard.

Or Tigress, who died from poison. I watched a seizure kill her as she tried to stand. That was awful.

I could go on all day.
