How long do you wait to breed your does back?

Thanks! I think so too.

Anywhere from a couple weeks to a month or so. If she hasn't had kits in over a month I'll breed her and then rebreed when those are are two to three weeks old then wait 3 to 4 weeks and do it again.

I used to do two months, it didn't really work for me, production was low and I wasted half a years worth of breedings. I can't breed year round, it just gets way too hot so I try make the most of the months I can breed and they'll get July, August and part of September off, possibly part of June if the weather keeps up.

Wow, that us late!

Yeah, I gave up on rabbits after loosing over 56 baby's!!!! I want to start again with American blues but I am not sure! If I do I won't be able to breed during winter so this helps me nail it down more...
