Thing is, I was the one researching breeds. Finding rescues, breeders, Craigslist, etc, for a dog. Any dog.
But then we got Aspen and I regretted all of it. -_-
I already don't like digs, but Aspen and Penelope only make it worse.

It took three and a half years of constant training to get where he is now. The more work you put in the better the dog. Even old dogs can learn new things.

As long as they have some way to clean the nose they should be fine. My coop doesn't have a run so I have that in there and they use that from 7:00 pm to about 7:30 am then they have access to a pool all day.

Okay. They'll have a pool outside and the chicken waters too. I could just put a waterer in their future run during the day if we ever have to lock them up.

Dogs are wonderful, if you find the right one. I've just been lucky in the ones i've gotten so I love them

Exactly. I can wait for a horse or a cat or a chicken or a goat to come around like that, but dogs..... I despise their kind.

Watch it- they'll find ways to drain, dump, and evaporate every drop of water in a chicken waterer by the day's end.
Trust me- it's never impossible, no matter the size or material.
