Good?

I've been pretty well!

I know he's gorgeous!! Yeah he ran through with a bunch of Spanish bucks and nannies. So I'm pretty sure he's got a good deal of that. The bucks he ran through with looked kinda like this but with much bigger horns.

We got him at the livestock Auction Saturday. I took some ducks at 6:00am and came back and told my mom and sister they had some really great looking goats. So we went to check them out. Got him for $50 and the Wyandotte eggs for $5 If you're careful he'll let you pet him.

Wow, you got him for only $50!
He would easily go for $400-$600!

For a gorgeous goat like that?!?!

Yeah. I know. I've seen goats smaller than him (say bottle babies) go for more than $70 and those are just Pygmy. It's because of the time of year. Back in feb little goats like him were bringing $100 easy, now because everyone is culling out the weanlings and goats that don't do so well there's not as much demand, making the price plummet. I only saw three or four bucks or nannies go for over $100. The bucklings averaged $40 to $60.

Summer, you're not losing your mind. :hugs
You're GRIEVING. :hugs
And it's perfectly okay. :)
I walked around in a daze for weeks after my beloved indoor pet peacock died.. :(
So we've all been there. :hugs
Which reminds me-
We lost another peahen today. :he
yeah yeah I didn't eat that much I wasn't hungry and I'm usually wanting to eat a whale every night!

Wow, that is so cheap! Here (okay AK always expensive) So it is was just being sold for Culling or people just didn't think he had much?

I know here no matter the goat- breeding or Cull is the same price.
