Troyergals Chat Thread!!!

My first chickens at age four were barreds. Supposed to be hens....
The rooster came up to me on my hips in height and his spurs were 3 1/2 inches long.
The thing was the worst rooster I've ever owned and I've been through 20 or so!
It attacked the back door and made itself bleed.
It climbed my playground slide to attack me.
Flew in an open bedroom window to attack us.
Jumped down off of perch in middle of night to spur us......
 
Hehe, dudes, I just realized that I have a mustache cat to eat the mustache mice

@dan26552 Thanks for letting me know! I didn't know that! Is only their looks affected or is their egg production and personality affected also?

I think it affects everything. Hatchery BRs are smaller and less suited to being a dual purpose breed than heritage BRs are, because they're smaller and have the hatcheries mixing in leghorn and such they're egg production is slightly higher than heritage. I'd say the personalities are probably different too.
