Good idea! Could it have been a wolf or coyote? I have found lamb legs like that in my wood. Coyotes are around.

Cole didn't come up with the rest of the flock today so I went out to find him. I succeeded too. Well in finding what was left anyway. Didn't know that there was currently anything back there big or bold enough to take out a goat. We've set a trap with what's left and also have a game cam out there, maybe we'll get what ever it is tonight.

Don't really know. Closest know coyete pack is about a mile or so in the other direction and they don't come around the dogs. We don't have wolves here or mountain lions or cougars or bears around either.

I haven't the slightest idea. We don't have a lot of big preds here. Biggest cat is a Bobcat.
