See all the white on her back? That all came in when see went through her last molt.

See how blotchy he is? I had better drakes but I had to keep him because my sister let my nephew name him fluffy.

You can see her breast in this picture, pretty much no bib.

Here's another shot of her.

Interesting, I've had similar things happen to my chickens...it's cool. They are sometimes so different you'd barely recognize them compared to when they were younger - I don't always notice until I find an old picture, and then I'm shocked!

One of our cows' coats really changed color. Her face, neck and part of front legs were black (or very dark) for the first five or so years of her life. Over the last year it's pretty much disappeared, now she's just got a proper jersey mask. I don't know if it is some deficiency in something she needs and isn't getting, or seasons, or something normal or what.

Yeah. I don't even know if Swedes are supposed to do that.

Interesting.

Border.

SUCH CUTENESS!!! :love

Oh yeah, we are probably going to get a couple goats in a couple weeks. Our neighbor's have bottle babies, and they're SO CUTE!!!

Yeah!!!

Bottle babies can be a pain.

Oh right. :/ :p

Well if you can deal with them trying to climb all over you, they really aren't that bad. They just catch a mama goat, milk it, and put the milk into a bottle for them twicxtwicxe a day. No fancy measurements needed.

I *think* it might come out similar if I cross-breed a BR Roo to a BA hen......Maybe.

Yeah, I know! I love genetics. I study them in my free time. And school time. :D

Cool! It wouldn't be *too* hard to make a barred lorp. The hardest part would be keeping to the type.[/quote]

I would cross a cuckoo ORP with a BR, and then cross that with the lorp. I'd imagine that doing that would get pretty nice type.

Not me that's for sure :gig laying on the foldout couch in my friends living room waiting for her to get up.
