I do agree with some of that. Though I think of dogs a little different because of my experiences with them. And a trained dog is just an awesome animal. but different dogs are just different dogs. sorry but I don`t agree were you said "Dogs won`t take a bullet for their owners" We once had a dog that would a truly good dog her name was Bear she was the first to see trouble there was 3 guys trying to brake in hearing her barks a neighbor came with a bat and my dad had just got home so he just tried to run them over (Lol) they left but if not for that dog the neighbor would not have came my mom and sisters would not have known. But there are dogs that are just bad, evil my dad had to save a little girl from a dog that would have killed her and she and that dog were best friends so every dogs is different.

We always seem to clash on this subject - I promise I'm not ranting/mad at you River - PROOOOMISE.

Some would, and some wouldn't, for Sure. Ive just never met a dog like that, save my neighbor's heeler. The chicken in my avatar is the biggest reason i don't like dogs.... He was the first bird we lost to a predator, and after that I've been SUPER protective of my chickens, and very suspicious of other dogs. I carried a grudge against Kade for two years, and I'm trying to et over it but i just cant! And I've never really loved a dog. Ever. Aspen has a job, so i put up with her trip hazard-ness.
But when mom yells at me because i scolded the dog for "playing" with my 10 yr. Old cat...........

I've gotten a reputation as a Dog-hater amongst my family and friends, and I'm just too proud to let it go. I dont secretly adore dogs or anything, but when i meet a dog thats a REALLY good dog- an AWESOME dog!- and Mom and dad tease me about being a "closet dog-lover"
IT MAKES ME SO INDESCRIBABLY ANGRY!!! I dont love dogs! I love my chickens! And my love for my chickens is much greater than my care for ANY dog EVER and just because i make an effort to get along with a good dog doesnt mean i love all dogs!!!!!

Five BEST dog I've ever had the privilege of knowing. And Aspen is the best of all of them cause i know she could and would kill any one of those dogs if i was mad at it. Yesterday when she scented that coyote and got all red-eyed and foamy-mouthed proved that.

And now I've run out of fuel. *sigh of pure mental exhaustion*
