So last week we were at a hotel and me and my lil bro were getting breakfast down stairs. When this lady comes up to me and asks randomly "Does he always wear a suit?" She questioned pointing to my brother.
Me-"Uh, not all the time. " (we were headed off to a funeral that day, but of course I wasn't going to tell a stranger that!)

I awkwardly stirred my coffee and set it aside to grab a spoon on the other table. Man comes over and starts filling his cup with coffee and mumbles "I wonder who this is." He pushed my cup to the side. Strange lady, points to brother again. "Thats his mother's. "

I got asked if my dad and I were brothers once... He's half bald and has grey hair. HOW OLD DO THEY THINK I AM? *~*

Haha.

The other day I was in the store (school has started here) and a teacher asked if I was homeSchooled...

How our conversation went-

Teacher - so cool you are home schooled!
Me - yeah, plus I get to pick what curriculum I want to do.
Teacher - oh, kinda cool. What grade are you in?
Me - 7th soon to be 8th (a little behind but who cares).
Teacher - oh, you are behind! Do your parents teach you?
Me - of course... I think your getting a little to personal.
Teacher - I just care about you and want to help.
Me - I don't need your help.... I am older sister to 7siblings and have a great life... Thank you, goodbye.
Teacher - goodbye... Hope to see you in school this year.

Oh, has soon as I said I get to pick my own curriculum she was annoyed and by the time we left I think she was mad.

I've had a ton. -_-

Store clerk: "Why aren't you in school?!"
Me: "Oh, I'm homeschooled and I had a doctor's appointment."
Store clerk: "Oh... "

I had somebody walk up to me and say:

Her: "Why aren't you in school young lady?"
Me: "I am home schooled. I am shopping with my mom at the moment."
Her: "Oh you poor thing" and she walked off giggling! :th
Oh jeez! :thNever has someone questioned why I wasn't in school, but I was mistaken for a guy once. I was more embarrassed for the other person than I was for myself.
It's like there's this whole homeschooled stereotype that if you don't go to public school, your undereducated, or unsocial.
Dude, I hate stereotypes. But I have to admit that they are right about me being antisocial.

We are pretty social arent we guys?!
Totally.
THEY ALWAYS ASK ME: "Are you friendless?"
Nah, nah NAH! I got a lot of wonderful friends! :hugs :)

-K
I was friendless 'til I joined BYC! :hugs You guys are the best friends.
