Yes and no. He a Rex Flemish cross he's about five months old and is as big as my two year old NZW CW cross buck.

Woah. I was almost going to say a Checkered Giant × Rex cross because of his uncanny size....
Is he from your own breeding stock?

I found a golf ball in Big Mama's nest this morning. It was in one of the other nest boxes so she must have grabbed it and put it in her nest, which is pretty impressive considering there is a three inch lip on both of those boxes.

Yeah. Lol. He is quite large.


No, we got him in January from a guy about an hour from here. We got five rabbits from him and one had five kits already. Perhaps not the best set up I've ever seen but it was very clean (there wasn't poop in or under the cages) and all the rabbits we got from him have been very friendly and in good health and vigor. We even traded our useless buck (was related to all our rabbits) for two Flemish Rex does.

Oh, I forgot to tell everyone, 4 DAYS UNTIL MY FINCHES HATCH!!!!!!

Tomorrow is day 14 so she's got 15 days to go. One egg went bad (could smell it so I tossed it) and another was really badly cracked but still alive so I waxed it, even I've never had luck with waxed eggs and put it in the bator, that was on day ten and it's the liveliest of the eggs so maybe So she's down to ten, been think about slipping one or two in around day 20, the less I have to brood the better right?!

There are no pet stores here and Walmart doesn't carry them.

Yeah!!!!!! I've always had better luck with smaller clutches-
Although there was that one time when Angel (Sebastopol goose) sat on 32 eggs and 29 HATCHED!!!!!!!!
