So I've heard...sorry you lost those chicks.
On another (better!) note, mom agrees it's a good idea to try to get some duck eggs asap, and then save up chickens eggs for a week or two while the ducks have started in the bator and add them too. So, the hunt for ducks has begun! PLEASE don't change your mind until I've got them, mom.

maybe she's pure Pekin after all. She's around 25.8 weeks old. I don't know exactly as my brother threw the calendar I had it marked on away. 
Yeah! It was soo tiny though. I don't really know, she used to be just slightly larger than a Mallard and because of her crest I thought maybe my Mallard drake was the dad and one of the pekins was the mom but she's pure white and recently had a growth spurt and now she's bigger than some of my pekin hens.maybe she's pure Pekin after all. I keep records of pretty much everything. My scale for birds is indispensable.
My five week olds have leveled out, they were gaining about 6 to 8 oz and last week they only gained 4oz. Same feed same amount same water. Anyway they're 2 1/2 to 3lbs now.
That's pretty good! They grow much bigger/faster than chicks.
