Quote: Yeah! I've gotten 4 eggs so-far! Starting today I'm going to start saving them for incubation and if I have several by next week I'm going to get the incubator running and go for it. If They slow down and I only get like one I'll just eat it. I've got a huge incubator so it's not really worth it for just a couple eggs.

It's a Hovabator...I bought it last spring and hatched about 50 chickens last summer. Just mixes from my hens. Most of which I sold.Awesome! What bator do you have?

Then I sold those hens, got some broody breeds. So, this summer between the incubator and broody hens I'm hoping to hatch out tons of turkeys, ducks, and quail...we'll see though...
That turned out differently then I had expectedAnyway, now ya know! XD![]()
Cool!Nice! I've got a Hovabator too.
Quote: I'm not sure what model mine is exactly...It's big though! It can hold 120 quail eggs and like 40 some chicken/turkey/duck eggs! That's with the turner of course...I bet more would fit without the turner but I don't wanna haveta mess with 'm multiple times per day...
I saw someplace they did a survey kinda thing and one broody hen turned her eggs 300 times in a day! Others did it as few as once or twice...
