Any body got big brooder ideas that don't require a lot of wood?
So, we use an old stock tank sometimes. I found this in my grandfather's barn and I use it sometimes. (In fact one of those turkeys in the video is the turkey in my avatar)
You could also pick up a couple kiddie pools. Or here's an idea! You could get some cardboard and just have them in a cardboard box! Just be VERY careful how you use a heat lamp with that last one.

One of my brooders is like a bookshelf; two levels, both the exact same. We used mostly scrap wood for it. The front is chick wire except for the doors (one on each side of each level, so four total).

You could make something like that, where the floor of one is the top of the other. It might use a little less wood, I don't know. It's kind of hard to explain, but it works well and didn't use too much wood. Also can last a long time.

Hmmm. Those are some ideas. Heat lamps aren't a problem, I can hang those by chains.
