I hadn't even thought about that. Probably be close enough wouldn't it? I don't know though, I'll have to wait and see what mom and my sister say. I'm sure my sister would keep one if he was a sweetheart but it all depends on what mom says.

Oh, the other day I was looking online for hatching eggs.

I found Wyandottes!!!!!!! I don't remember what color....but I was so excited! I've been searching for some forever. I gave up and figured they weren't here. I gotta get some.

Yeah, those rangers are BIG birds, even at a only a week older most are nearly three times the size of the others. so I'm sure crossing one to a Wyandotte (which are big birds themselves) would produce quite a nice meatie.

Yeah! Plus after a couple years and they're spent even the hens would produce a nice stew carcass. I got a couple months.

One thing I've learned, you can't start working on the parents too early. The more time the better.

Too true, took me almost a year to talk my mom into letting me build a bator.
