Woah. :th
He DOES look like a Blue/Slate Faverolle! (Slate wing, uh, I'm so tired I'm not even remembering breed varieties... :hide)
Did he have the five toes?
Shootingstars. :hit So you ended up selling all of your old roosters? :hugs

Indeed he does. I don't remember but I don't think so.

Ate two (never intended to keep them anyway) dang fox took about 12, kept Barney and Chester then when the hens stopped laying for 5 months ended up selling everyone :hit Don't know why they stopped, they weren't molting they weren't sick they didn't have lice or mites, dad thinks I under fed them but they were getting about 10lbs a day plus free range in the woods. There were only 20 of them and the 10 ducks, he thinks the ducks ate everything but the chickens were always first to the feeders. Thus he's forbidden my keeping ducks and chickens together.

Aw, that sucks :(:(:(
I almost asked you if you have chickens still. :P duh huh Zelda :lau

Nice. I like his hackles' barring. :love His stance betrays his self-confidence.
:hugs He was sold, too? :hit

Yeah. Lol he was very confident, so much so he jumped a 4 foot fence to try and rescue a duck (who'd only been part of his flock for a couple months) when he was about 4 1/2 to 5 months. He used to keep the mean roosters off us, he'd walk behind us and take out any rooster who was stupid enough to try and sneak us. :love He was awesome. He was incredibly calm, my sister used him for 4-H demos on how to show chickens and even though he'd never done it before he was perfect and after wards he stood there for half an hour while the kids played with him. :love :hit Yeah.
