Hey guys, I have a chick that I have been cleaning for pasty butt for a week now. His vent is clear, I can easily see it, but he looks very bulgy in that area. He is a 1-1/2 week old Cornish Giant, is this normal? He is my only one left so I can't compare.

What does bulgy mean? Could you post a pic?

I will take a picture soon, and I mean around its bottom the skin seems to stick out way more. It looks like there is poop wanting to come out but the bottom is blocked. I can see that on the outside it is clear though.

Weird. If you gently apple pressure what does it feel like? Soft? Hard? Does it move or feel normal?

First of all, too yucky to take a pic. he poops non stop (Not really, but it seems like it.) but it still looks big there. It is soft, and feels normal. He has no tail, and he has no feathers on his bottom. I am not getting Cornish giants again! (Genetics modified are horrible)
